MATH 270 Linear and Differential Methods
This course covers applied material in two areas of advanced mathematics that are foundational for scientific work: linear algebra and ordinary differential equations. Students will study solution techniques for first order differential equations, higher order linear differential equations, systems of linear equations and first order linear ordinary differential equations, Laplace transform, and the basics of matrix algebra and eigenvalues/eigenvectors. Students will also study the methods of modeling problems in the real world with differential equations and linear equations.
