WELL 137 Fitness Walking

Students will be guided through a progressive exercise program that gradually increases physical activity over the course of the semester. This class will specifically focus on walking for fitness. Emphasis will be on proper form, understanding how to regulate one's work rate, and improving health. Course will also address the importance of habitual physical activity with regard to health and disease risk.
