EDME 536 Instructional Design and Assessment for Learners with Autism Spectrum Disorders
This course is designed to prepare educators to conduct assessment and design instruction for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders. A strong emphasis is placed upon the use of assessment to guide instructional planning utilizing evidence-based practices and decision making for the purpose of providing appropriate programs in the least restrictive environment. This course includes 20 hours of field placement within an instructional setting that provides support and instruction to children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders.
