HLTH 810 Scholarly Writing & Research Design

This course will prepare students to formulate a research question, define variables, design a study, craft instrumentation, demonstrate validity and reliability of measurement and design, identify data collection procedures, conduct basic data analysis, and demonstrate ethical and legal responsibilities of the researcher. Information is presented on grant writing and IRB application as well as disseminating completed research projects through manuscript, poster, and oral presentation.
