ENGR 378 Manufacturing Processes

Study of manufacturing methods common in production. Consideration of tooling techniques, fabrication techniques, and the impact of those techniques on characteristics of parts produced, along with influence of design and materials on manufacturability. Lab experiences involving designing parts for ease of manufacturing and manufacturing the parts designed. Field trips to local industrial facilities arranged.
