SOWK 485 Seminar in Social Work Practice

This course focuses on the knowledge, principles and skills of social work services. Emphasis is placed on generalist social work practice and utilizing a strength perspective in service delivery. Focus will be on the integration of models of service delivery with different client systems. Course will incorporate the values of the profession and analyze ethical dilemmas and the ways which they affect practice, services and clients. SOWK 485 requires a minimum grade of C+ in all previous SOWK courses to progress in the major.
