SOWK 476 Field Experience: Social Work Practice with Communities and Organizations

This is the fourth field course offered in the practice series and is designed to introduce students to the philosophy and characteristics of applied macro practice within the generalist framework in Social Work. This 1 credit practicum experience offers an opportunity for students to begin developing, implementing and assessing macro social work practice within community and organizational contexts. SOWK 476 requires a minimum grade of C+ in all previous SOWK courses to progress in the major.
