THEO 229 Theology and American Culture

Examines core Christian beliefs through key movements, people, and debates in North American church life, both past and present. By reading sermons, confessions, and other theological documents in their historical contexts, students will recognize both the unity and diversity of Christian belief in America. They will also gain the ability to analyze the relationship between theology and culture.
