HLTH 640 Economics of Healthcare

This course explores macro and meso-economic concepts affecting healthcare and the key areas influencing population health, social determinants of health, public policy and regulation, and societal needs and expectations. These concepts are applied to the microeconomics of healthcare systems and providers by examining individual decision-making among patients, providers, insurers, and hospitals.
