COMM 359 Rhetorical Theory

This course surveys the history and major theories of rhetoric from its foundations in ancient Greece to more recent postmodern manifestations. Students will gain a conceptual framework for speaking and writing persuasively as well as evaluating the structure and function of rhetoric in society. Fulfills Writing in the major for the Department of Communications.
