SOWK 555 Generalist Social Work Practice with Organizations and Communities

This course in the generalist practice series is an integral part of generalist social work practice. It is designed to develop the skills and abilities of students to practice macro social work. The primary focus will be on the inter-relationships between the environment, agency structures and general service delivery systems. Students will develop specific community organizing, networking, and interprofessional collaboration skills. A strong component of this course will focus on program evaluation and community engagement, assessment, and intervention.
