SOWK 635 Advanced Social Work Research Methods

This course builds upon the basic understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods in social work and emphasizes the integration of research concepts and skills in evaluating social work programs and practice (at all levels) in the field practicum. This course is designed to assist students in applying research methods to practice settings and developing an empirical approach to practice to contribute to the knowledge base of the profession while enhancing practice, policy, and/or service delivery.
