OCCU 528 Domain and Process
This course discusses achieving health, well-being, and participation in life through engagement in occupation. Application of the OTPF domain focuses on the interaction of areas of occupation, performance skills, performance patterns, activity demands, context(s), and client factors. Application of the OTPF process emphasizes completing an occupational profile, analysis of activities and occupations, selecting and using screenings, standardized assessments, and non-standardized assessments to measure the quality of occupational performance, and approaches to interventions. Throughout the course, students discuss and use purposeful activities to promote occupational performance and participation in life tasks while considering ethical and contextual factors that influence participation in occupation.
