NURS 621 Principles of Population Health

This course examines how advanced clinical roles apply population health principles, by focusing on social determinants of health, disparities, epidemiology, and public health interventions. Students will analyze and translate public health data as well as engage in disaster preparedness and program evaluation. Emphasis is placed on information technology, leadership, policy development, and multidisciplinary collaboration, with consideration of the socioeconomic impact of interventions.
