ENGL 315 Literary Nonfiction Workshop

This upper-level creative writing workshop considers the nonfiction essay in several forms. Students examine voice, craft and content in the tradition of the personal essay, consider what it means to use research in this genre, and write their own literary nonfiction pieces. Students collaborate to workshop the essays produced in the class, read carefully and deeply, and converse broadly on the concerns that attend this genre.
