ENGL 357 Postcolonial/World Literature

This course examines non-Western literature from Latin America, Asia, Africa, and Arabia, exploring different understandings of culture and identity, especially as those understandings differ from western, European models of culture and identity. The course may include authors such as Arundati Roy, Mahmoud Darwish, Chinua Achebe, Huzama Habayeb, and Ibrahim Nasrallah.
