ENGR 441 Structural Design II

Expand on topics from ENGR 341 to include design of steel members for flexure and concrete members in compression. Advanced topics include concepts for the design of steel plate girders, concrete discontinuity regions, and prestressed concrete. Timber design is introduced. An integration of traditional analysis and design topics is emphasized through a project-based learning approach.
