ENGR 471 Heat Transfer Analysis & Design

Explore fundamental principles of conduction, convection, and radiation heat transfer, and apply them to engineering problems. Study steady and transient conduction, forced and free convection, multi-mode heat transfer, heat exchanger design, and methods for enhancement of heat transfer. Laboratory experience includes application of theory and computer modelling through finite control volume and finite element methods.
