EDME 720 Collaboration and Reconciliation

This course prepares educational leaders to apply communication, collaboration, and community engagement skills at a systems and organizational level. Students will examine how leaders build, sustain, and repair relationships across diverse school and community contexts The course emphasizes reconciliation as a proactive leadership practice that fosters trust, shared learning, and inclusive participation. Through inquiry, reflective practice, and applied leadership tasks, students will develop the capacity to guide complex collaborations, navigate conflict constructively, and empower stakeholders—including marginalized groups—to shape collective decisions.
