EDME 728 Ethical Decision Making in Education
This course provides doctoral students with an advanced understanding of the legal frameworks, ethical principles, and systems-level considerations that guide educational leadership. Students will examine how federal, state, and district regulations shape local decision-making and how leaders interpret, apply, and communicate legal requirements with integrity and fairness. Through case studies, policy analysis, and applied decision-making exercises, students will learn to anticipate legal implications, navigate complex organizational challenges, and model ethical leadership practices.
