EDME 724 Transformative Leadership in Diverse Educational Contexts

This course prepares educational leaders to advance equity, integrity, and student-centered learning within dynamic and often contested educational environments. The course explores how leaders respond to shifting sociopolitical pressures, emerging community concerns, and evolving debates that influence schooling and public perception of education. Students will analyze how transformative leaders navigate institutional conflict, address systemic inequities, and advocate for students with diverse learning needs across varied cultural and organizational settings. Through inquiry, case analysis, and applied leadership tasks, students will develop the capacity to lead with fairness, professional integrity, and a commitment to equitable opportunities.
