ENGL 142 Selected Works of British Literature

Read, discuss, and respond to significant British literary texts. Explore the techniques of diverse literary expressions within British traditions and reflect on the active role literature plays in personal growth and social transformation. Readings will vary by semester and instructor but will reflect diverse British experiences and may include the medieval through the contemporary periods and genres in poetry, drama, fiction, and nonfiction.
