ENGL 176 Women's Literature

Read, discuss, and respond to literature by significant women writers. Explore the techniques of diverse literary expressions, consider the intersections of gender and literature, and reflect on the active role literature plays in personal growth and social transformation. Readings will vary by semester and instructor but will reflect diverse women’s experiences and may include selections across historical periods and global communities and from genres in fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and drama.
