ENGL 172 Literature and the Life of Faith

Read, discuss, and respond to fiction, poetry, and essays, primarily in the Judeo-Christian tradition, which engage issues of faith and life. Readings will vary by semester and instructor but will reflect the faith experiences of a diverse array of Judeo Christian writers and thinkers, such as Chaim Potok, Marilynne Robinson, and Shusaku Endo, and may include a range of periods, geographies, and genres.
