ENGL 160 Introduction to World Literature

Read, discuss, and respond to significant World literary texts. Explore the techniques of diverse literary expressions within World traditions and reflect on the active role literature plays in personal growth and social transformation. Readings will vary by semester and instructor but will reflect diverse non-American experiences and may include ancient as well as contemporary poetry, drama, fiction, and nonfiction from around the world.
