ENGL 148 Introduction to Shakespeare

Read, discuss, and respond to Shakespeare’s dramatic and literary texts. Explore the techniques of diverse literary expressions within Shakespeare’s diverse canon and reflect on the active role literature plays in personal growth and social transformation. Readings will vary by semester and instructor but will reflect Shakespeare’s many ways of exploring and examining both individual and communal human life.
