NURS 560 Leadership for Advanced Nursing Roles
This course is designed to cultivate leadership skills essential for nursing professionals across diverse roles and settings. Students will develop a greater capacity for leadership through exploration of theory, professional competencies, and reflective practice. Key concepts covered include communication, relationship management, personal and professional accountability, and adapting to change. Additionally, the course emphasizes evidence-based practice (EBP), compliance with standards, quality and safety, and the critical role of nurses in organizational leadership.
For Fall 2025, this course will run in it's prior version with 4 credits.
