NURS 721 Clinical Diagnostics and Differential Diagnosis for Advanced Family Nursing Practice
This course focuses on methods of accurate diagnosis of common health conditions in primary healthcare settings. Emphasis is placed on diagnostic frameworks for clinical decision-making, appropriate diagnostic test selection, and timely interpretation of diagnostic testing findings. Through analysis of diagnostic data, students will develop differential diagnoses using a systematic approach that integrates clinical reasoning, knowledge of pathophysiology, and patient-centered assessment.
